Whether the session is in-hospital, in our Murrieta studio, or elsewhere, a little preparation can go a long way. There are some things you can do that you might not have even thought to ask about that can make a big difference in how your newborn’s photographs turn out. At the very least, following these tips will make your photography session less stressful and a more enjoyable experience for you and everyone involved.

This is a post I’ve been meaning to write for quite some time now. The topic is one that I am extremely passionate about, and one that I talk about with my newborn and baby photography clients any chance I get: the importance of actually printing your photos.

With all the technology we have at our fingertips, including smartphones, tablets, and digital cameras, I believe we have forgotten the importance of having printed photographs—ones we can actually hold in our hands. Even photos taken by professional photographers are often not printed, but saved on a computer somewhere. People often ask what differentiates us from other newborn and baby photographers in Murrieta—and why they should come to us, rather than taking the photos themselves, or taking their baby to Walmart or any of the other baby photography locations in the Murrieta area. These are great questions, and ones we are happy to answer, because we think the experience you get when you hire Inspirations Photography is really what sets us apart.

For example, at our photography studio in Old Town Murrieta, we have a large variety of props for you to choose from for your baby’s photography session: hats for baby boys and headbands for baby girls, newborn wraps, blankets, and a ton of props for creatively posing your baby. Of course you can also bring in your own props to personalize the session, like a special stuffed animal, Dad’s baseball glove, or Mom’s pearl necklace. inspirations-photography-murrieta-spring-sessionsIt’s almost time for one of our favorite events of the year at Inspirations Photography—Spring Mini Sessions! This popular two-day event offers families a 20-minute session in a fun spring setting at our Murrieta photography studio.
The dates for this year’s event are March 19 & 20.

The theme this year is a flower cart and vegetable garden. We’ve already begun to gather props and put the sets together, and we are getting very excited about how it’s all coming together! There will be two sets to choose from, both of which will be perfect for girls and boys alike. You can choose one or both of the sets to have your children photographed in at their Mini Session.

We will also be bringing in some baby chicks and bunnies especially for these sessions. The photos that come out of our Spring Mini Sessions are always adorable!

Book Your Session Today!

Spring Mini Sessions are a great time to have your children photographed in their Easter clothes, or any other “springy” outfits. Given this year’s theme, it would also be fun to see some little farmers in denim overalls!

Included in the price of the Mini Session is your 20-minute sitting, plus five professionally edited digital images. You also have the option of purchasing additional prints and products. Sessions are $175 per family, and a $50 deposit is due when you book your appointment.

Spring Mini Sessions always sell out quickly, so don’t wait to reserve one of our limited session slots. You can contact our studio through our website or call us today at (951) 623-9560.

Recently, I was contacted by Businessing Magazine, an online publication dedicated to small business owners, to be featured in an interview for their “5 Questions With” series. Basically, the magazine editors ask the same five questions of business owners in a variety of fields and publish their answers so others can learn from their experiences. You can read my interview here.

I’ve learned a lot about running a business in my years as a baby and newborn photographer in Murrieta and I was happy to be able to share some of that knowledge with the Businessing Magazine readers, as well as educate people about what differentiates a professional photographer from someone with a nice camera.
